For all massage sessions, your position on the massage table can be modified for your comfort and to accommodate various medical devices and conditions, including injury.

Massage increases body awareness, circulation, mobility, relaxation, and your overall sense of well-being. It is important to helping maintain a healthy lifestyle. After using massage to work out the current discomforts and restrictions in your body, massage can then be used to maintain your body by helping to prevent or reduce the level or frequency of muscle pain, restricted movement, sluggishness, and muscle injury. FAQ's

Body Therapy services will often integrate multiple modalities such as Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Sports Massage techniques to give you a session that meets your goals and provides the most benefit for you, unless you specifically request a single modality.

Swedish Massage
Swedish Massage, a relaxation massage, is an oil-based massage that promotes mental and physical relaxation, stimulates circulation, eases sore and tense muscles, and promotes regular sleep patterns.

Your Swedish Massage session may also include Acupressure, Reflexology, and Reiki to provide a session that is effective and meets your massage needs. More about massage

Your Deep Tissue Massage session may also include Trigger Point Therapy and Swedish Massage to provide a session that is effective and meets your massage and bodywork needs. More about massage

Sports Massage

Sports Massage facilitates conditioning, recovery, and dealing with problem conditions that are caused or aggravated by intense physical activity.

For the professional athlete or someone with a regular exercise routine, sports massage helps achieve optimal readiness in preparation for your event, facilitates recovery after your event, and as part of a training regimen, helps maintain optimal physical condition.

These sessions incorporate stretching and joint mobilization activity, and you do not need to be a professional athlete to benefit from a sports massage. If you have begun an exercise routine or increased physical activity, on your own or with the assistance of a trainer or coach, sports massage can help break up and prevent muscle-holding patterns to increase muscle usage efficiency, get more from your workouts, and help prevent muscle injuries.

Craniosacral therapy is a gentle non-evasive therapy using light touch, time, energy, and intention to modify and correct restrictions within the craniosacral system. Craniosacral therapy has been effective in relieving symptoms associated with TMJ dysfunction, depression, headaches, sinus and vision issues, low back discomfort, and others. More about massage
